The sound of Istanbul, ""a part of istanbul".., is a musical work which is the continuation of the Voice Of Rooms project.
The sound of Istanbul is composed by the sounds belonging to magnificent Istanbul, heard in the streets, avenues; sometimes meld into the sounds of boats and tramways.
People swimming in the coast of Samatya, craftsmen screaming to make sale in the Friday bazaar of Fındıkzade, fever, anxiety and mixed emotions in Taksim and Beyoğlu, the summer rain falling in Istanbul, bus stops in Mecidiyeköy and people with the hustle of going home… Subway musicians, Tramway stop announcements, drinking houses, sounds reflecting inside Sultanahmet and Hagia Sophia Mosque are composing the fundamental harmony of this electronic symphony.
The sounds registered for the Voice of Istanbul are reprocessed in studios with programs written originally for this project and campaigned with the texture performed lively with several electronic and acoustic instruments and they are composed lively.
